Student Visa Process in Canada
International students wishing to study in Canada must obtain permission before applying for a student visa. The admission process is as follows:
- Identify the curriculum and organization
- Fill out the application form and submit it online to the institution or college of your choice
- Obtain a letter of accreditation from the education provider
- Obtain an electronic confirmation of registration (eCOE).
- Apply for a student visa
Documents Required for The Offer Letter
- Birth and abandonment certificates
- Passport size photos
- Permit to travel
- 10th & 12th Marksheet,
- Credit & Examination Certificates
- Diploma’s Mark letter,
- Degree Degree/Provisional Certificate
- ITI’s Mark sheet, degree certificate
- Graduation certificate, degree/provisional certificate (in writing if required).
- Master’s Mark letter, Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate (copies if required).
- Work experience letter as required.
- IELTS/PTE certificate.
Visa Process
All international students must obtain a student permit and visa before travelling to Canada to study and comply with Canadian immigration law requirements. While applying for the visa, the applicant must give 2 months to the authority to process the visa.

Funding
Students planning to apply under the Student Partner Program (SPP) program are required to purchase a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (G.I.C.) account and deposit CAD$ 10,200 in living expenses for one year guaranteed in their account.
After the student received a letter of acceptance from the college, the student’s G.I.C.
Initially, the student has to create a new email id with Scotia Bank. This process takes 4 to 5 days.After that, the student has to pay CAD$ 10,200 by wire transfer from their account and from that CAD$ 10,000 will be transferred to their G.I.C. and Scotia Bank deducts CAD$ 200 as an administrative fee.
Once the payment is made, the funds will be transferred to the G.I.C. account.
The student is required to take a printed receipt from the G.I.C. they had to personally verify the receipt on file when applying for visa processing.
Once a student lands in Canada, he or she must open a savings account at Scotia Bank where they will receive CAD$ 2000 immediately for their living expenses and the balance transferred to their account on a monthly basis alternating in equal shares in for their living expenses throughout the period year.
